Krabbe Children

Reesa Michaele Stutzman – Late Infantile
Beautiful Baby Reesa, much like Lauren developed normally for the first six months of her life before showing signs of Krabbe disease. Please check out her website below

Marshall and Michael Wilson – Late Infantile
The Wilsons were the first family that we met with Krabbe children, Their son Marshall like Lauren has a late infantile onset of the disease.

Their other son Michael also has Krabbe disease but this time they knew about it in time and he was able to have a lifesaving transplant. You can read about his journey below.

The Wilson’s also created a video to help spread awareness about Universal Newborn Screening and how it can save babies like ours.

    Evie never had a story or a video or a Caringbridge site, just Krabbe’s disease & a very short life.
    Evie Beth Sugden, 21 February 2001 – 21 January 2002.
    She was my first Grandchild.
